How KROMO works
Predict real-world events with friends, keep score with virtual Krom, and climb the leaderboard. Here’s the whole loop.
The basics
KROMO is a social prediction app. You predict how real-world events will turn out, from pop culture and sports to current events, and compete with friends to see who reads them best. Everything runs on a virtual in-game currency called Krom.
Silver and Gold Krom
There are two tiers. You spend Silver Krom to stake a prediction. When you’re right, you earn Gold Krom. Krom can’t be purchased and it isn’t real money. It exists only inside the game, as a way to keep score, and you can’t cash it out.
Quick Hunch
The fast lane. Swipe through the hottest predictions happening around the world and lock in a quick call in seconds.
Duels
Go head-to-head. Challenge a friend to a direct prediction face-off and settle who actually knows their stuff.
Leagues
Compete across a whole season. Create a league, invite your friends, and rack up points as events resolve over time.
Leaderboards and streaks
Every correct call moves you up the leaderboard and builds your streak. Consistency is its own reward. The best predictors rise to the top.
Is this gambling? No.
KROMO has no real-money wagering and nothing to buy in order to play. Krom is virtual, can’t be bought, and can’t be converted to cash. KROMO is a social game for entertainment, for players 21 and up, not gambling and not a financial product. A rewards program to redeem Gold Krom for real-world perks like merch and gift cards is coming soon; Krom will remain non-cashable.
